I am passionate about the practice of family law. I am a divorced, single mother of three young children myself. Having experienced the emotional and legal turmoil of a family break up first-hand, and come out of it thriving on the other side, I can now deftly and compassionately usher my clients through their own divorce journeys.
When I meet with a client, we start our engagement with setting our north star. Success starts with goal-setting in light of the law, and crafting a legal strategy in light of achievable client goals. My role is to keep the case moving towards the client's goals as smoothly and swiftly as possible. We are solution-oriented, strong advocates on the front end, and close advisers on the back end, making sure we are in line with client goals and making progress.
I love working directly with clients, championing families during difficult times, and the written and oral advocacy involved in the process. I view the practice of law as a craft; I continually hone that craft through participation in professional development programs and engagement with trade literature. I deeply enjoy my work and feel honored to do it.
My prior work includes civil rights advocacy, criminal defense, work with the general counsels of both New York University and Lincoln Center, and HarvardX.
